Kim Tae-yeon (AKA Tae Yeon Kim) started her way down the Road to Skinlightenment as a model in her native South Korea. Needless to say, she’s one seriously hot little lady… What is surprising, though, is that after she attained quite a bit of fame as a model and decided to try her hand at acting, she did so with a turn in 1999’s Lies. The film is so explicit in its subject matter (basically, an S&M-tinged affair between a 38-year-old professional and an 18-year-old girl…) that it was banned in the very country where it was made! Tae stars as the young girl involved in the spank-tastic relationship and shows off every last inch of her incredible body in the many sex/whipping scenes that populate the movie. Some of the sexcapades do not look simulated, which is probably why the film is so controversial. It went through heavy editing before it could be released in any capacity in South Korea. Even a decade later, the uncensored film was extremely difficult to find in the country. These days, Kim is hard to find as well. We hope that the controversy surrounding Lies didn’t affect her career, but IMDb lists only three additional credits for the actress: the 2001 drama film Love Her, the 2003 romantic drama series All In, and the 2004 drama film Foolish Game. It seems like a foolish game to believe that Kim will return to skinema, but even if she shows her pretty face in something, Mr. Skin will be happy.
